SA: Cabinet to meet in tourist centre

The South Australian cabinet will meet in Victor Harbor, south of Adelaide, for the
first time today.

Premier JOHN OLSEN says the gathering continues the series of cabinet meetings in country
centres to help ministers better understand issues of importance to regional communities.

Mr OLSEN says Victor Harbor is one of South Australia's leading tourist destinations
as well as being the fastest growing municipality in the state.

A number of local announcements are also expected to mark the cabinet meeting, including
the allocation of extra funding for local emergency services.
