NSW: Cleo 50 Most Eligible Bachelors announced

Cleo magazine has released its eagerly-awaited list of the country's 50 most eligible
bachelors and there's a few new -- and old -- faces on board.

A fresh crop of successful bachelors including stockbroker RENE RIVKIN'S twin sons, DION
and SHANNON; Unity Party leader JASON YAT-SEN LI; country music singer ADAM BRAND and tennis
player MARK PHILIPPOUSSIS grace the magazine's March issue.

Now that media magnate LACHLAN MURDOCH'S off the eligible list, his younger brother JAMES
has earned his first appearance.

And perennial bachelor -- despite his well-publicised broken engagement to KATE FISCHER --
and media mogul JAMES PACKER also appears.

The world of journalism is well represented with Channel Nine reporter HUGH RIMINTON,
Herald Sun federal political reporter KARL MALAKUNAS and SBS Sports presenter ANDREW ORSATTI
all scoring a berth in this year's 50.

The Bachelor of the Year will be presented in Sydney tomorrow by EDNA EVERAGE.
