NSW: Man turns himself into police over Bondi stabbing

An Israeli man's been charged over the stabbing murder of a countryman outside a shop
at Sydney's Bondi beach.

The charged man .. a 32-year-old who lives in the eastern suburb of Vaucluse .. turned
himself in to police last night.

He was taken to hospital for treatment for a medical condition .. before returning
to Waverley police station this morning to be charged.

36-year-old HERNAN GUELMAN was attacked outside a convenience store at the intersection
of Glenayr Avenue and Curlewis Street on Saturday night .. and died in hospital after
emergency surgery.

The charged man's been refused bail and will face Waverley Local Court later today.
